I beg to move:- THAT the Bill be amended in sub-clause (4) of Clause 4 by inserting the following words at the end of the sub-clause – “and, until the final announcement of the results of the first general elections held under the Constitution, section 29(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution”. The amendment on Clause 4 is basically to entrench Section 29(2) of the Sixth Schedule but going by the decisions we made yesterday, I withdraw that."
