I would like to remind the Chair of the Budget Committee that actually Members of Parliament are vetted directly by the people of Kenya through the ballot. If the people of Kenya had capacity to vet every office holder, they would do it but because it is not practical, they delegate it to the legislative assembly to do it on their behalf. The National Assembly is subjected to direct vetting by the people of Kenya through the ballot. You only need to give them information."
