Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, last week, a young herder in the constituency was killed by a grenade that was left behind almost 40 years ago. I think this amendment will go along in ensuring that Kenyans will be compensated. If their land is used, then they will have to be compensated by the State or by the military in a way that will be gainful to them. I support the amendment."
