    "content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to join Mr. Kimunya in thanking, first and foremost, Members of Parliament, the Chairmen, especially the Chairman of the Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations, together with his Committee. I also thank my colleagues and Ministers who stood in for me when I was away in Nyeri; I also thank your office and members of staff of the National Assembly. I think we have proved to Kenyans today that Members of Parliament are above board, and once required, they are prepared to sacrifice for the interest of this nation. For them to have stayed here for three nights without any rest is a clear manifestation of their willingness to serve this nation. We have proved to those who have been criticizing this House tonight and the previous night that we are equal to the task. Thank you very much."
