(a) I would like to clarify that holding of multiple bank accounts in any one or more banks does not violate the Central Bank Act or any laws of the country. (b) Section 31(3)(a) of the Banking Act permits the Central Bank to share information that comes to its possession with the Kenya Revenue Authority which is the principal Government Agency dealing with tax matters.
