    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, that is a fair question. But let me point out that this bank was not closed by the Treasury. The Treasury has also no authority of opening this bank. This was all done by the CBK in exercise of its mandate. The main reason was to avoid a rundown from the depositors. I would like to confirm that this matter has been brought to my attention by the CBK and I am looking into it. I am going to have discussions with the CBK and see how best to resolve this issue. Taking into account what has happened since the closure of the bank, if we opened it today, would it be able to operate normally? Would there be a run on deposits? We also want to look at what the statutory manager has done, so far. So, I would like to assure this House that this matter has now been brought to my attention and I am actively looking at it. I will initiate discussions with the CBK."
