    "content": "Hon. Karua asked about the trip of the President to the Olympics. The President and the Prime Minister were invited to the Olympics and we agreed that the President would attend the opening of the athletics but to engage in official duties. It was not just going to the Olympics. The President opened an investment conference in London which was showcasing Kenya to the international and investment community. That is why the President was accompanied by Ministers whose dockets were affected. He was accompanied by the Minister for Finance, the Minister for Energy, the Minister for Information and Communications and the Minister for Transport. So, all the Ministers who accompanied the President had some contribution to make at the Kenya Investment Conference."
