"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, we urge that all right thinking Kenyans support our security forces and stand united against these criminal activities. I would want the Minister to re- assure Kenyans and this House that they are taking adequate measures to redress the situation, to bring normalcy to Mombasa and to secure all parts of our country. This is coming so shortly after the security incident in Tana River where we lost the lives of 50 people and shortly after the security incident in Wajir and Mandera, where again there has been loss of life, injuries and displacement of people. It is happening at a time when we are moving towards a general election. All those who are patriotic to our country need to stand together. I know this is a majority of Kenyans. We must stand united against external infiltration and also against internal criminal elements."
