There was also burning of the office of the Salvation Army Church in Majengo. There was also looting of Neno Evangelistic Church in Tudor. A GK Vehicle at Musa Mosque in Majengo was set on fire. Windows of Arizona Hotel in Tudor were smashed by irate youths. Also, the Pentecostal Church in Kaloleni, Tononoka was vandalized. Later, the religious leaders and the Provincial Commissioner addressed a Press Conference to urge faithful to remain calm. Despite the Government taking the above measures, on Tuesday, 28th August, at 12 noon, youth from Kisauni Division went on rampage as allegations were made that the wife of the late Muslim preacher had succumbed to the injuries sustained during the incident.
