    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT Clause 11 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new sub-clause after sub-clause(6)- (7) Where a political party merges with another political party, a member of the political party that has merged with another and who is a member of Parliament or of a county assembly who does not desire to be a member of the political party formed after the merger shall continue to serve as a member of Parliament or of the county assembly as an independent member for the remainder of the term of the member."
