    "content": "On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I request for a Ministerial Statement from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology. In the Statement, I would like the Minister to tell the House whether she is aware of a strike notice that has been served by the University Academic Staff Union demanding action in respect of a collective bargaining agreement 2012, which was being negotiated and which the Government has refused to discuss or offer any solution to. In the Ministerial Statement, the Minister should inform the House what the Ministry intends to do to avert the impending strike, an action that will drastically affect all public universities in Kenya."
