    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Chair, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 22 of the Bill be amended- (a) in paragraph (a) of sub-clause (1) by inserting the words “or for purposes of challenging the de-registration of the political party”; (b) in paragraph (c) of sub-clause (1) by inserting the words “except for the purposes of a meeting under paragraph (a)” after the words “a meeting of a political party”; (c) in sub-clause (2) by deleting the words “independent candidates” appearing after the words “for the remainder of their term as” and substituting therefor the words “independents”; (d) by inserting the following new sub-clause after sub-clause (2)- “(3) Despite sub-section (2), where the de-registration of a political party is occasioned by a willful act or a willful omission of a member who is a member of Parliament or of a county assembly, that member shall cease to be a member of Parliament or of the county assembly”."
