    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Ministry is undertaking a lot of projects that are aimed at expanding the capacity of our energy sources, geothermal included, so that by the time we have sufficient power generation, then our cost of production, or generation, will be cost effective. Mr. Speaker, Sir, currently, we depend a lot on Independent Power Producer’s (IPPs) because of lack of adequate generation capacity. We also depend on hydro power, which is very dependent on the weather. But with the expansion of our energy mix, we expect to be able to have enough generation capacity, so that we can reduce the cost of generation."
