However, there has been a lot of bashing here by the Members against the Executive that the Executive has delayed this Bill and the formulation of these rules. According to the Constitution that we passed in this House, the IEBC is an independent body. It has nothing to do with the Executive. It cannot be supervised. In fact, the Executive is doing the IEBC a favour by bending ourselves to support them, so that they can get out of this mess that they find themselves in."
