However, having said that, I must point out that the teaching profession is a noble one. Teachers are role models to a majority of children in this country. What a few of them did must be condemned because it borders on criminal activities. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, we do not want the good teachers who are in their strike peacefully--- That image must not be destroyed by the few among them who have criminal inclinations. I know the Minister is a negotiator. I know the Minister for Finance is another good Minister. The two of them put together with the teacher’s union will always work out an agreement that can take teachers and children back to school. With those remarks, I support."
