The Government has subjected the teachers to even forget God in the morning and pray for the Government to pay their salaries. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, we must make sure that teachers are no longer subjected to this kind of treatment. We must pay them well. Teachers wake up every morning to read newspapers and hear from radio of how corrupt this Government is: That 30 per cent of the money goes to corruption. That is over Kshs300 billion every year.
