    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, as the newest Member of this House, I must say that I feel distressed by the perception, image, and the framing of Members of Parliament under the representation of this House in the public domain. This particular incident has raised it to a level in which I think we have become the laughing stock of our nation and yet I know I am spending my time and energy as an upright citizen working very hard for my constituency and doing my representation here. I know many others who are in a similar position in this House. They have committed themselves to work for a better Kenya. It is, therefore, important that you take the necessary action to make sure that the allegations are investigated and if they are not true, necessary action be taken. Otherwise, if they are left out there in the public the assumption is that we are guilty of what has been said against us rightfully or wrongly."
