    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the parameters that I have talked about will lead to significant reduction, which can be passed on to consumers. The significant reduction can only be realized when we complete the power project that includes a 280 megawatt generation at Naivasha; it is supposed to be on by 2014 and another one by an independent power producer. We have also more geothermal power plants that are planned to generate up to around 560 megawatts which are going to be commissioned between 2015 and 2018. At this point, we will have a considerable relief for the consumers of this Republic. I want to assure the hon. Members and the House that we are going to reduce significantly the cost of power from what it is now."
