"content": "11.00 p.m., two men, one of Somali origin, walked into the hotel while carrying a small travelling bag, ordered for tea and started chewing miraa . At about midnight, Shimai informed the two men that she wanted to proceed to sleep, but the Somali man requested her to leave the padlock with him, stating that he would lock the hotel for her as they were waiting for their boss. The Somali man also requested the lady to give him her mobile number, so that he could alert her after locking the hotel. Later that night, Shimai received a call from the Somali man informing her that they had left. When she went to open the hotel on 30th June, 2012, she found it properly locked. (viii) On 30th June, 2012, one Ismail Maalim Mohammed, a friend to Billa, woke up at 4.15 a.m. to prepare for morning prayers and found Billa already in the bathroom. He proceeded to the mosque and when he came back to the room, he noticed that there were lights in Billa’s room. Since Ismail Maalim Mohammed had not seen Billa in the mosque, something which was unusual, he decided to make inquiries and was informed by one Abdul Rahman that calls to Billa’s phone were not being answered. However, they learned from one Soman Abdi Sirat that at about 4.33 a.m., as he was walking to the mosque with Aden Billa while crossing the road, two men armed with pistols, speaking in Kiswahili confronted Aden Billa, forced him into a waiting motor vehicle and drove away towards Meru. (ix) Currently, the investigations are following crucial leads to establish the people behind the disappearance and whereabouts of Mr. Aden Billa. Appropriate action will be taken against anybody found culpable once the investigations have been completed. Hon. Duale, that is the information that we have collected, so far. Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir."
