"content": "I would like to encourage that in our language even in Parliament, when we are speaking, let us be gender sensitive in our talk. I heard Mr. Chanzu, when he was contributing, say that the women who passed this are the elite women. I am not admonishing him because he is my good friend. I never hear people talking about elite men. Why is it that it is the women who must be elite? When I speak as Millie, I am “elite women” speaking from Nairobi, but when Mr. Kimunya speaks, he speaks for the men. So, when I speak the women’s language, I speak as a woman."
