Danson Mungatana, Member of Parliament for Garsen Constituency rose on a point of order requesting for a Ministerial Statement on the security situation in Tana Delta District. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, in his Statement, the hon. Member sought a number of clarifications including:- 1. Whether the General Service Unit (GSU) officers attacked Ozi Village on 17th September, 2012 and razed 67 houses apparently in search of weapons. 2. Who gave the orders for the houses to be burnt down and whether there was no other way to search for the weapons. 3. The disciplinary action to be taken against the officers, who ordered the burning down of the houses. 4. Whether the security officers were infiltrated and if so, by whom. 5. He wanted to know investigations to be conducted to determine what transpired. 6. Why the GSU officers stopped the Kenya Red Cross from accessing Ozi village."
