    "content": "Excellency the President, in consultation with the Rt. hon. Prime Minister, had made the following nominations for the positions stated there under:- (i) Johnston Kavuludi – Chairman. (ii) Ronald L. Musengi - Member. (iii) Esther Chui-Colombini - Member. (iv) Murshid A. Mohamed - Member. (v) Dr. Major Muiu Shadrack Mutia - Member. (vi) Mary Auma Owuor - Member. We undertook the vetting. We had done it for previously for the rest of the members. In this case, for the Chair, it is important for this House to note that Mr. Johnston Kavuludi is a Kenyan citizen who has served this country in different capacities. He was born in 1952. He is a university graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Education, Literature and English, Geography and Education. He is a lead partner in Frokombe Initiative, working as a lead consultant in charge of human resource management and corporate services, tasked with training for excellence, management enhanced skills, leadership and team building dynamics and organisational development. He has been a principal educationist and training consultant at Frokombe Initiative, tasked with designing training programmes for corporate clients and learning institutions. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, Mr. Kavuludi has been a Commissioner for Labour in the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources Development where he served as the Head Department of Labour and advised the Government on labour and employment matters. He has also been a Director, Manpower Development and Employment in the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources Development. For the rest of the nominees, since we had gone through them and debated, it is our recommendation as a Committee that having conducted the vetting exercise of the six nominees to the National Police Service Commission, the Committee made the following recommendations:- (i) That this House approves the nomination of Mr. Johnston Kavuludi as the Chairperson of the National Police Service Commission. (ii) That this House approves the following nominees as Members of the National Police Service Commission:- (i) Ronald L. Musengi – Member. (ii) Esther Chui-Colombini - Member. (iii) Murshid A. Mohamed - Member. (iv) Dr. Major Muiu Shadrack Mutia – Member. (v) Mary Auma Owuor - Member. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, with those remarks, I beg to move and request hon. Cyprian Omollo to second the Motion."
