    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I am getting a little confused by my learned colleague here. Having said so, I just want to thank the Attorney-General for the support he has given to the Parliamentary Caucus on Children, the Kenya Women Parliamentary Association, the House as a whole, The Cradle, a children’s foundation and the International Centre for Jurists (ICJ). Finally, I want to indicate that when we were pushing for the passage of the Constitution, some of our opponents, especially the church, said that they were opposed because we were taking away the role of Parliament in treaty making and ratification, and I promised to bring this Bill to the House, which I have since done. Thank you."
