"content": "problems. Unless we enforce the very rules and regulations that we pass here, then we will be wasting a lot of time. The Bill, however, is timely. It is very important because we have to save the lives of our young people. We have to ensure that examinations are genuine and people have confidence in Kenya’s examinations; we should rank people as it used to be done in the past. We have to restore the confidence that I have mentioned. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I think it is the duty of this House to ensure that what we pass is what is proper for the country at large. I support what hon. Millie has just mentioned, about setting the standards. I think that is something the Minister will have to relook at, so that this fallacy of generalization is removed. We want to have something that is very clear that everybody will adhere to. I do not want to take your time. I want to congratulate the Minister because this is important. It is time we started protecting the integrity of the examinations that we do in our country. This is one such measure which is important for us to support."
