    "content": "The Second Schedule to the National Assembly Remuneration Act is amended by deleting the second column of item 5 and substituting therefor the following- A severance allowance at the rate of thirty-one per centum of the gross taxable remuneration payable to a member of Parliament each month under this Act, including the salary, constituency allowance, nominated member’s allowance, ex officio member’s allowance, house allowance, extraneous allowance, transport allowance, entertainment allowance and vehicle fixed cost allowance. Provided that in respect of the Tenth Parliament, severance allowance shall be paid- (a) at the rate of thirty-one per centum of the salary specified in the second column of the First Schedule for every year in service, in respect of the period up to 26th August, 2010; and"
