    "content": "I have listened very carefully to the narrations of the Member representing the region affected. It is surprising that such action could take place to the extent that it is now endangering the lives of such large number of Kenyans, without a serious action on the part of the Government. I believe after this Motion is exhaustively discussed and opinions of the leaders of this country are put forward, serious steps will be taken to ensure that this dam is not constructed, until what the Member here is requesting, that is a comprehensive environmental and social impact assessment, is undertaken and appropriate mitigation measures put in place."
