    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is a very sad case which calls into question the fairness of the processes of both hiring and firing, not just within the Government, but of the PSC. The Minister has just said that his services were terminated for gross misconduct. This is a very senior officer, hired as a Commissioner of Mines and with a very distinguished resume. The truth of the matter is that he was fired because he differed with the Permanent Secretary. In fact, he insisted on following the proper procedures to license miners. Could he tell us what misconduct was alleged on the Dr. Rop and the processes that were employed to verify the allegations?"
