    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, while appreciating the effort that was made by the hon. Member of Parliament; the interventions that she took to ensure that we had peace and good understanding, I want to assure her that there is no single time we have condoned lawlessness either from individuals, the regular police or the reservists. I have already indicated that the single matter that has been brought to our attention is still under investigation. If indeed it is found out that our officers used excessive force, then disciplinary action will be taken. We do not want our officers to be seen as people who are disrupting peace or who are making citizens to live in fear. So, my assurance to the hon. Member is that once the investigations are complete, we will ensure that any officer whether regular or reservist who has abused citizens will be disciplined appropriately."
