We appreciate that in the circumstances of this case, Kenya was in the process of returning her citizens home to stand trial when a friendly Government conducted itself in a manner that all of us have agreed left the Kenya Government without an option. That incident has been dealt with in a diplomatic way; I want to assure this House that we have already had cases that have gone to the High Court of Kenya and to the constitutional court dealing with the questions of how a Kenyan can be legitimately removed from Kenya to stand trial in another country. The Government intends to be guided by the guidelines that the High Court has provided in these cases."
