There have been a lot of initiatives on voter education and opening up democratic space that is being done by Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs); Uongozi being one of them and Mkenya Daima being another. If you can remember, Mr. Minister, you took us to Mombasa on the same. Can the Minister clarify why, in the civil education, there is a concerted effort to make the sitting Members of Parliament appear non-viable as prospective candidates of 2013? I say that because in on one of the Uongozi questionnaire, they asked: Do you think that your current Member of Parliament is worth re-electing? Is that not influencing? I do not believe that is civic education."
