    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, regulation 24 be amended- (a) in paragraph (a) by deleting the words “one hundred and fifty thousand” and substituting therefor the words “ten thousand”; (b) in paragraph (b) by deleting the words “two hundred and fifty thousand” and substituting therefor the words “twenty thousand” Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, this is the nomination fee to be paid by persons wanting to be elected as Members of Parliament. We are increasing it by 100 per cent so that Members of Parliament will pay Kshs20,000 and the youth and disabled, Kshs10,000."
