    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I support the Motion. In doing so, I want to encourage hon. Members that, as we go home, we remember to preach peace. As we all know, there are premature campaigns going on. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to make one comment about the persons we appointed to senior positions in Parliament. I want to congratulate those who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes and who are retiring. I want to also congratulate the ones who are coming in. I want to just thank the Committee for choosing exceptional people. I have known Mr. Nyegenye for many years; even before I came to Parliament. He does exceptional work. However, I look forward to a day when we will not congratulate ourselves for choosing four exceptional men. We had a distinguished woman who has worked in this Parliament for many years. I would have liked to have seen her at the apex of the places we have filled. I also want to say that, as Members of Parliament, today we were really mad at the public for the things they are saying against us. We were the ones who set tempo because we demonise ourselves; but we have an exceptional person who stood up for us, and I am told that one of the reasons he was not against us is that he is a former Member of Parliament. It is unfortunate that we are the ones who demonised ourselves. Indeed, I wish that we did not give Mr. Ochilo Ayacko that position for reasons other than the fact that he is a former Member of Parliament. I support."
