I am happy that you have given me an opportunity to answer this Question. (a) The resignation of the former KWS Director, Dr. Julius Kipng’etich was a personal decision. (b) According to the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act, CAP 376 Section 3C(2) the Director of the KWS is appointed by the President. This is what happened."
