    "content": "number of amendments as a Committee to strengthen this Bill. We will be doing this in consultation and with the agreement of hon. Dr. Otichillo. We have already agreed on this. Our Chairman has agreed and assured me that we will move these amendments. He has requested me to tell the House that the Committee is in agreement and it supports this Bill. The introduction of mitigation issues in this Bill is very important. The Authority is very crucial because it is the one that will take care of us. Global warming which is as a result of climate change is making the ice lands melt. When they melt, the ocean volumes increase. If the ocean volumes increase, we will see some of the cities sink. We will also see more flooding. We will also see more climate change issues related to global warming. The glaciers on Mount Kenya are being reduced. Unless we carry out more afforestation in areas that are around the mountains and take care of our wetlands, we will experience situations where we will have no water. Therefore, I support the Bill."
