The issue raised by Dr. Otichilo is of paramount importance. When one is driving through Kikuyu, you can see the emissions from the factory. Along that area there are so many wetlands and one of them is called Audrey, which feeds into the rivers that are used by the Alliance High Schools. The balance of the rivers go all the way to Ngong and feed into the Mbagathi River and finally goes to the Coast. Has NEMA done the assessment to see what fumes reach those wetlands such that people’s health is not affected without necessarily confining them to the factory?"
