    "content": "Section 7 of the principal Act is amended by- (a) re-numbering the existing provision as sub-section (1); and (b) inserting the following new sub-section immediately after the new sub- section (1)- (2) Notwithstanding sub-section (1), the Board may, for the purpose of the vetting of magistrates, co-opt such members of the Judicial Service Commission as it considers necessary to its membership provided that such co-opted members are not serving magistrates. Let me give a small brief. The Board is made up of nine members and the number of judicial officers they have to vet is quite high. The magistrates are almost 300 in number and the time is short. So, we are allowing the Board that while retaining the duty as the core entity to co-opt members of the JSC who are not magistrates to help the Board in doing this business, so that they can conclude the business as fast as possible."
