    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, you recall that last week we sought the leave of the House to shorten the referral period. Hon. Members were concerned that we were not quite specific in terms of the timeline that we were talking about. So, we resubmitted this Motion in an amended form today, more specifically saying that the issue is to reduce the time required to refer these two Bills to the Committee from mandatory 10 days to 5 days. These are straight forward one-page Bills, which have a bearing on the forthcoming elections."
