    "content": "Without anticipating the debate on these two Bills, the shortening of the referral period will facilitate getting the discussion on this matter in the House and fast track them to the Committee Stage. We will basically look at the two clauses in one of the Bills and change one or two other clauses in the Political Parties (Amendment) Bill. It is something that will create some certainty within the political parties and registration of voters bearing in mind the fact that the voter registration exercise is still ongoing. We need to close that register before the political parties could create their own registers."
