    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is pursuant to Article 171(2) of the Constitution. The Committee had already considered Members of the Judicial Service Commission, which Members were actually approved for appointment on the Floor of this House. Under the Article, one woman and one man were appointed by the President to represent the public. However, following the resignation of Bishop Antony Muheria from the JSC, the National Assembly received a letter informing the House as much. The Speaker then directed that the name and Curriculum Vitae of Dr. Samuel Kobia be referred to the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee for consideration prior to approval by the House."
