However, I am saying that this is an important petition. The Treasury remains committed to paying teachers their pension. The Treasury also remains committed to paying all the pensioners their entire pension and to do so as quickly as possible. I have heard the views of hon. Members and we will take the necessary action to ensure that pensioners are paid their pension on due day without wasting a lot of time in Nairobi. They will not even have to come to Nairobi."
