    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, just for clarity the amendment which was submitted before the House is not quite clear. Since we have said we want to make it to be in conformity with the ruling of the court, I want to further amend the amendment to be in line with the court ruling. In so doing, I want the amendment to read as follows:- THAT, for the purposes of the first elections under the new Constitution, Section 22(1)(b) and Section 24(1)(b) of the Elections Act, 2012, save for the position of the President, the Deputy President, the Governor and the Deputy Governor, shall not apply for the elections of the offices of Parliament and county assembly representatives. That is what the ruling said."
