The talk then was that the communities surrounding this forest were to be empowered on environmental issues. May I know from the Assistant Minister what specific programmes have been implemented in the areas surrounding Mau, particularly the western part where I come from, that is Bomet, Konoin and Kipkelion areas? Are there specific programmes?"
