"content": "(i) eight persons,being farmers’ representatives, elected by the farmers to represent the major crop subsectors in Kenya; (b) by inserting the following new sub-clauses immediately after sub- clause (1) — (1A) The Cabinet Secretary shall make rules for election of the members of the Board under paragraph (i). (1B) The rules made under subsection (1A) shall provide for mechanisms to ensure that not more than two thirds of the members so elected are of the same gender."
