In fact, there are very many issues including voting by university students who are sitting exams until 21st December and cannot travel to the various registration centres to register because their campuses are scattered all over the country. The Assistant Minister appreciates this and says that because this is an independent Commission which cannot be directed. He has requested that we agree to the constitution of a special Kamukunji where they can be invited and all these issues can be put to them as the organization capable of implementing them. I think he has agreed, and we cannot continue asking him to direct an independent Commission."
