    "content": "The Members are asking for something which is affordable, but which is too expensive to do now. They missed a chance to come and put their case before the Committee where we could thrash out all these things and explain on a give-and-take system. They are asking for maybe a morning or an afternoon so that they can be explained to. If you look through the suggestions by the Kenya National Human Rights Commission (KNHRC), over 30 farmers’ organizations, some of the most professional organizations like the Kenya Veterinary Association and several stakeholders, all of them agree that we need these two new laws."
