    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I just wanted to remind the Government side that the issues we are raising are constitutional, statutory and a matter of procedures. If this Government is committed to the rule of law, they are under duty and obligation to look into these matters. I wanted to add to the contribution by the Chairman of the Budget Committee. It is also a requirement that towards a general election the Government must bring to this House a pre-election fiscal and economic report. This is a requirement we endevoured to put in our Standing Orders and in the law, so that the electoral mischief, especially theft of public funds during election period, can be curtailed. The Government is yet to comment on it. He has alluded to the two important Bills we are also waiting for in terms of ensuring that---"
