    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 8 of the Bill be amended-. (a) in paragraph (a) by inserting the words “specified in the First Schedule” immediately after the word “crops”; (b) in paragraph (c) by deleting the words “or State Department”; and (c) by deleting paragraph (g) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph— (g) in consultation with the National Biodiversity Authority, advise the government on the introduction, safe transfer, handling and use of genetically modified species of plants and organisms in the country; (d) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (l)— (ll) formulate policies and guidelines on dealing with other crops."
