"content": "Regarding the measures that are being taken to ensure that the pedestrian walkways are not used by motorists, I want to state here that the Government through the Ministry of Roads and the Ministry of Nairobi Metropolitan is working around the clock to improve transport networks in the cities and other urban areas by constructing by- passes, filling potholes, expansion of rail and other transport facilities so that the traffic jams which contribute to motorists driving on pedestrian walkways are eliminated.
