I am for taxing athletes’ earnings within reasonable limits. In addition to that, we need to create pension scheme for them, so that we do not have old age poverty among our athletes. A case in point is Mr. Nyandika Maiyoro, one of the most renowned athletes of this country in the yester years, who is now living in poverty, whom the Government allocated a House and it was taken away"
