(a) I am aware that Mr. Jeremiah Obwoma was retired in public interest with effect from 1st August, 2003 and later reinstated after making an appeal which was approved by the Public Service Commission in October, 2008. (b) I am also aware that the said officer has not been paid dues for the intervening period; that is from August, 2003 to October, 2008. That was because he was considered to be retired during the appeal period. Since he did not render any services, he does not qualify to be paid any salary."
